As a side note, this is a scan of a color negative that I shot during the Hale-Bopp imaging session. In 2004, I purchased a Canon 8000F flatbed scanner;
then I dug out my old negatives and photos. This image was one that I never saw, and didn't even remember shooting. It was never printed by the photo developer since it was such a poor image. The image was hardly
visible in the scan due to extreme fogging of the film. So I thought what the heck, lets try to recover it! Below you can see the original scan on the left and compared to the restored image on the right. |
